There’s no such thing as work-life balance. There are work-life choices, and you make them, and they have consequences.
— Jack Welch

Free time?

Work-life balance just like multi-tasking are generational buzz terms that are absolutely ludicrous.  If you are going to do something, do it with passion and commitment.  Work hard, play hard - when you are working give it everything you have and when you are playing enjoy it.  I am fortunate enough that the things I enjoy are often also called work.  Check out my gallery for photos from my adventures.

Silver State Classic Challenge

Road Racing

In 2016 my buddy Jeff Allen introduced us to road racing.  I can't wait to get back to NV in September to try to out do last years score.  We placed 3rd in the 100 MPH class with an overall speed of  99.9878 (Not bad for rookies).

Twice each year the Silver State Classic Challenge, Inc., a non-profit corporation, closes State Route #318 between Lund and Hiko, Nevada with permits issued by the State of Nevada, for the running of these unique automotive events. The journey traverses 90 miles of fenced, two lane highway with long straights, twisty sections and dips.

BMW Car Club of America

I've always enjoyed driving German engineered cars.  I've owned BMW, Audi and Porsche and currently enjoy hanging out with other Bimmer owners as part of the the BMWCCA.

It doesn’t matter what model you drive. Whether you’re driving your first Bimmer, or your thirtieth, there are just certain subjects that interest only BMW owners. BMW CCA is where we explore all of them; it is where we fuel our passion for the marque with friendship, family and fun!

We've done all kinds of Rallies including The Great Race, The Colorado Grand, The Fireball Run and The ELK Charity Challenge.  It's always an adventure and an absolute pleasure meeting other "car guys".

The Everyone Loves Kids (E.L.K) Charity Challenge is an interactive adventure; pitting philanthropic vehicle enthusiasts against one another in a seven-day journey to give back to America’s future… it’s children.
